WHAT IS CROSSFIT

People are flocking to CrossFit because CrossFit is welcoming, fun, inclusive and it gets you in the best shape of your life!

CrossFit is a movement, away from machine based exercise done in big impersonal gyms towards bodyweight only and free-weight movements done in small gyms or ‘box’s’ with a supportive coaching environment.

A CrossFit gym will look very different to a normal gym as there will be a distinct lack of equipment. We rely on our skilled coaches and trainers to show you what your program is for the day. That’s one of the biggest benefits of CrossFit – you are being coached at every session.
Each CrossFit box is individually owned and operated. Therefore, you will find that your experience will vary greatly from box to box. So don’t judge all CrossFit boxes on one experience.

Much to many peoples perception CrossFit isn’t just for the already fit. It’s for everybody.

We have kids from 5 years old train with us and our oldest CrossFitter is over 70. There’s no body that CrossFit won’t get fitter and healthier.

If you think that CrossFit is going to be too hard for you then think again. All of our programs at CrossFit Ignite are scaled to the individual.
