Alright here we go again. This time let’s have a look at your liver health and how it might contribute to fat loss.
One often overlooked key to fat loss is liver health. The stronger, healthier liver, the less stubborn fat deposits on the body, as the liver aiding in clearing out excess fat-retaining estrogens.
Not many of you know that toxins are stored in fat cells and your body will retain fat in order not to release those toxins into the bloodstream to protect your body from overwhelming the system, especially when your organs are already stressed.
To help with your liver health it makes sense to eat clean and toxin free diet. It is as easy as opting for organic food over the non-organic, this will decrease the overall load of toxins on the system, taking the stress away from liver and decreasing stubborn body fat.
Nutritional supplements may play role in liver health. One of these supplements are Essential fatty acids. They are proven to be effective in fat loss, organ health and reducing inflammation. Some good source of essential fatty acids are fish (think mackerel, salmon, herring, sardines, tuna), walnuts, avocado, egg yolks, just to name few.
On top of your organic, rich in essential fatty acid diet, don’t forget to drink plenty of water. One of the main benefits of water is that it flushes out the tissue of the liver. It is the water that flushes out the toxins out of the liver to be removed via skin or bowels. It is recommended to drink more than 1.5 litre of water a day.
Well I hope this sheds some light into why might not be losing any stubborn fat. Happy to chat more in person if you’d like
