I wanted to share Dan’s journey with you as soon as I read his comment on Facebook regarding his experience in the February 2017 Good to Great No B.S Nutrition Program.
The reason I wanted to share Dan’s journey is because…. this could be you.
The photo that you see at the top of this article was the motivation Dan needed to make a decision to do something.
With just a few small changes to Dan’s daily food habit he transformed his body and is now again not embarrassed when he see’s himself in photo’s
This is what Dan said after participating in our February Good to Great No B.S Nutrition Program.
Take it away Dan.
“Ok – so one month on (maybe 5 weeks) and a check in with PJ yesterday proved how “good” – Good To Great has been!!
The goal was to drop 2 – 2.5% body fat, nailed it.
Dropped 3.5kg’s of fat whilst maintaining muscle mass. Really happy.
It was a tough month personally with my wife and daughter not well at varying times, so the above results were based on training once a week and not much more.
We really are what we eat!!

I wanted to interview Dan to dig a little deeper into how his journey has been, what he achieved and what he thought really had the biggest impact on his success.

Here are my insights on how Dan set himself up for success.
1. He had a clear and achievable goal.
He wanted to lose 2-2.5% Body Fat during the good to great program.
2. Committing to changes and getting organised.
Dan changed his breakfast, and became more mindful of how much food he needed throughout the day. He set himself up for success by setting aside more time in the morning to make changing his breakfast a reality.
3. He was resilient and ‘found a way to make it happen’ rather than opt out when things got tough.
Having a family member have an extended stretch in hospital during the 4 weeks was far from ideal. It’s the type of situation where many would throw up their hands and say ‘ít’s all too hard’. Despite this challenge Dan found healthy meal options at the hospital and stayed on track when ‘life happened’.
What can you take from Dan’s journey to set yourself up for success?
