I love working with the team that we have at Ignite. There is a strong work ethic, but we know how to have fun together too. Working and training with people who are passionate about the same things as me is priceless. I’ve been lucky enough to have competed in the CrossFit Games at ‘The Ranch’ in 2009.
If you’re looking for a little something to give you a boost before training, or during the afternoon, then these balls are packed full of goodness and lots of energy, plus some hemp seeds for protein.


1 cup almonds, soaked overnight in filtered water
¼ cup cacao nibs
¼ cup hemp seeds
¼ cup goji berries
2 tbsp cacao powder
¼ cup shredded coconut
7 or 8 large pitted dates soaked in filtered water for 30 mins
In a food processor blend the almonds until they have formed a mealy texture.  Add the cacao nibs, cacao, hemp seeds, goji berries and shredded coconut and blend to combine. Add the dates one at a time with the motor running until the mixture starts to ball up.
Roll the mixture into walnut sized balls and refrigerate for up to a week.
