Is Stress Your Friend or Foe in Competition?

The open has begun, and I know for me personally this has created a heightened level of stress over the past week. A second attempt of workout 1, lead me to a realisation that I had become my biggest obstacle as I had temporarily let competition pressure distract me from mental clarity and focus, and my motive to compete for passion had been overcome by a fear of failure.
